What we mean when we say Watermark. 4 Suites is the second album from the duo Watermark, Mads Rubin and Jonathan Carstensen. The instrumental suites on this release is a selection of rarities and gems from the Watermark ouvre, chopped and screwed in late 2016, and can be seen as further studies in the twilight of Ibiza nightclub raves and black metal composing with an undercurrent of new age interest. A listening approach might be found in a sensitivity towards uncharted territory. A sensitivity that offers no guarantee except for a possible broadening of ears. Suites for dancing, suites for contemplation.
